Dosen UMA Sosialisasikan Inovasi Bisnis Digital bagi Santri Rumah Tahfidz Miftahul Jannah

Dosen Universitas Medan Area (UMA) dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) serta Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi (FST) melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan mengusung tema “Sosialisasi Inovasi Bisnis Kalangan Remaja di Era Digital”. Kegiatan ini ditujukan kepada para santri Yayasan Rumah Tahfidz Miftahul Jannah yang berlokasi di Jalan Letda Sujono/Sosro No.106, Kelurahan Bantan, Kecamatan Medan Tembung, Kota Medan. Sosialisasi berlangsung selama tiga hari, mulai 26 hingga 28 Mei 2025.

Kegiatan PKM ini diketuai oleh Hasbiana Dalimunthe, SE, M.Ak (Dosen FEB UMA Prodi Akuntansi), dengan anggota tim terdiri dari Dr. Nisfa Hanim, S.Si, M.Si dan Yudi Gebri Foenna, S.Si, M.Sc, keduanya merupakan dosen dari Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UMA. Tim juga dibantu oleh dua mahasiswa, yaitu M. Fazhar Nasution dan Zikri Fadillah Salim. Kehadiran tim disambut dengan antusias oleh para santri dan dewan guru yayasan.

Hasbiana Dalimunthe dalam penjelasannya di Kampus II UMA, Jalan Sei Serayu/Setiabudi Medan, Senin (30/6/2025), menyampaikan bahwa pentingnya memperkenalkan inovasi bisnis sejak usia remaja menjadi bagian dari upaya menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan yang tangguh dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman, khususnya di era digital.

“Kami berharap para santri mampu memahami konsep inovasi bisnis, mulai dari menggali ide kreatif hingga mengubahnya menjadi produk atau metode yang memiliki nilai guna,” ungkap Hasbiana.

Lebih lanjut, santri juga dibekali pengetahuan mengenai tahapan inovasi bisnis seperti mengenali potensi diri, melakukan riset pasar, menyusun rencana usaha, menggali akses pendanaan, hingga memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam memasarkan produk atau jasa. Mereka juga didorong untuk aktif mengikuti pelatihan kewirausahaan, berjejaring dengan pelaku bisnis lain, serta mengembangkan sikap konsisten dan fokus terhadap tujuan bisnis yang dirintis.

“Para santri juga dikenalkan dengan berbagai jenis inovasi bisnis seperti inovasi produk, model bisnis, proses, pemasaran, hingga inovasi berbasis teknologi,” tambahnya.

Hasbiana menekankan bahwa menanamkan semangat inovasi sejak dini dapat membuka peluang ekonomi mandiri yang berkelanjutan.

“Kami berharap para santri dapat merancang inovasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman dan menjadi bekal dalam menciptakan peluang usaha sejak muda,” tuturnya.

Selain penyampaian materi, kegiatan ini juga mencakup sesi interaktif berupa diskusi dan tanya jawab seputar tantangan dan solusi dalam memulai bisnis berbasis inovasi. Kegiatan ini mendapat respons positif dan semangat tinggi dari seluruh peserta serta pihak Yayasan Rumah Tahfidz Miftahul Jannah.
